Portopalo SicilyPortopalo di Capo Passero (Portupalu in Sicilian, Puortupalu in the local dialect) is a commune (municipality) in the Province of Siracusa, Sicily (Italy). It's located about 220 km southeast of Palermo and about 45 km southwest of Siracusa. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,617 and an area of 14.9 km².
